2023 Impact Report

As the leading provider of integrated care services for children, young people and adults, Orchard Care Group brings together three leading brands in Irish social care, Orchard Fostering, Orchard Community Care and Orchard Residential Care.

We are proud to be able to share our 2023 Impact Report which highlights the high levels of wrap around care and supports we offer through our fostering, disability, and mainstream residential services, outlining how we continue to build brighter futures. In this report we showcase the high levels of commitment from our services, staff teams and families in ensuring high quality and inclusive care is provided to every individual we support.

2023 HIQA Inspection

We are delighted to share the outcome of their 2023 HIQA inspection. The report highlights the quality of care and child centred approach of our service and how children’s rights are promoted at every level of the service. The report praised the supports in place across Orchard Fostering, naming the children’s ambassador board, the birth children support groups, foster carer support groups and training available.

The inspectors met with foster carers, young people and external social workers who spoke about the high levels of support, communication and care provided. This is a testament to all of our amazing foster carers, young people and staff team and Orchard Fostering will continue to ensure that the best possible outcomes are provided to all of our children and young people.

2020 Annual Foster Service Report

The year 2020 was both exciting and challenging for our staff and foster families. Our 2020 annual report looks at some of the highlights within the service over the past year and the growth of our foster carer base throughout 2020. Furthermore, this report will present some of the data gathered by Orchard Fostering during 2020, while it will also provide insight into some of our exciting plans for 2021.
