What our team members say…

Slide

I have been with Orchard Fostering for almost 8 years and during this time I have had the opportunity to progress in my role and return to college with the support of Orchard. The support, supervision, training and benefits Orchard provide their employees are excellent and the environment in which we work in is a positive and homely one, with a great team of supportive colleagues.

I’ve worked in Orchard for almost 6 years. We have a lot of staff who are with us 6- 10 years and 10years plus. The team are so experienced and motivated that they are a pleasure to work with. No day is ever the same which makes it so interesting. I’ve learned so much in my time here – I’m still learning. I feel trusted to do my job well and appreciated for the good job that I do. Seeing the positive outcome in young people’s lives as a result of what we do is fantastic

I have worked with Orchard fostering for 7 years. My favourite thing about working here is the team – we all are working towards the same goal – to support our fostering families and the children in their care. Seeing children in caring homes is the most rewarding part of my day. Working within such a varied team has helped me learn and understand my own role more effectively. I have had the opportunity to grow and develop in my position over the years through internal and external training supported by Orchard fostering.
